How do I get early (beta) access to new releases?

How to enable Beta Access on your account

weavix provides continuous over-the-air updates as part of your subscription. In joining our Beta Program, customers have access to validate and test upcoming releases before they roll out to General Availability.

If you would like to join the Beta Program, please have your administrator reach out to help@weavix.com.

Once your request is approved, specific users on your account can be granted permissions to get early access to software by enabling Beta Access as follows:

1. Navigate to https://console.weavix.com
2. Under "Configuration" click "Users"
3. Navigate to the User that needs Beta Access
4. Check the "Enable Beta Access" Checkbox
5. Save

How to update to Beta

On walt™

*note - Once a walt Smart Radio is updated, all users that use it will experience the new version. We suggest only updating a small set of walts to beta.

1. Login to the walt you wish to update
2. Click menu by pressing the back button from the Home Screen
3. Navigate to Settings
4. Click Firmware
5. Update the walt

On iOS

We deploy beta through the App Store’s official testing program: Test Flight

1. On your iPhone, go to the Apple App Store and search for “Test Flight”.
2. Install the “Test Flight” app to your device.
3. Please click the link below from your iPhone and install the beta version. It will overwrite the latest production app with beta. testflight.apple.com/join/rfXSYdEk
4. You can now access the beta application. The app will automatically update to new beta versions in the future.

On Android

We use Google Play’s official beta program.

1. Open Google Play and search for weavix Smart Radio
2. Click on the weavix app that appears in the search results.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page under the “Beta” section and click “Join Beta”. It will take a minute or two to enroll you in the beta program,
4. After enrolled, go back to the weavix app in the Play Store and you will have the option to update to Beta. It will overwrite the latest production app.

On Web Browsers

• You can access the beta version of web radio at: https://radio-canary.weavix.com
• You can access the beta version of the console at: https://console-canary.weavix.com
