Users can change their PINs at any time by going to their profile settings on their walt, weavix Mobile App, or Web Radio.
If a full user forgets their PIN, they can use their phone number or email address to receive a code that allows them to reset their PIN. If a basic user forgets their PIN, an admin will need to Reset the user's PIN from the weavix Console or weavix Mobile App.
Changing Your PIN
Changing your PIN on walt
You can change your PIN on your walt Smart Radio in the Profile Settings
- Navigate to the walt Menu
- Select the Settings button near the bottom
- Next, choose Profile Settings
- From here, you should see the option to Change PIN
- If you know your PIN, select the I Know My Current PIN option. If you do not know your current PIN, see below for instructions
- Enter your current PIN
- You will then be prompted to enter your new PIN twice
- After you've entered your new PIN, you will get a PIN Change confirmation screen.
Changing your PIN on the weavix Mobile App
You can change your PIN on your weavix Mobile App in the Profile Settings
- Navigate to your profile by tapping your profile picture in the top left corner
- Next, tap the pencil icon that is to the right of your profile picture to edit your profile
- Near the bottom of the screen, select the Change PIN option
- Here you can enter your current PIN, as well as enter your new PIN twice.
If you do not know your current PIN, see below for instructions. - After you've entered your new PIN, you will get a PIN Change confirmation screen.
Changing your PIN on the weavix Console or Web Radio
You can change your PIN on the weavix Console or Web Radio in the Profile Settings
- Navigate to your profile by clicking on your profile picture in the top right corner and select the Profile option in the drop down menu.
- From here you should get a pop up window that has a Change PIN button near the bottom. Click the Change PIN button.
- From here, you can enter your current PIN and enter your new PIN twice. Click Save when you are done.
If you do not know your current PIN, see below for instructions. - After you've saved your new PIN, you will get a confirmation message at the bottom of the screen.
Resetting a forgotten PIN
Full user forgotten PIN
Full users are able to reset their PIN by themselves without needing an Admin to reset their PIN for them.
Reset your PIN from walt
If you forgot your PIN, full users can reset their PIN by themselves from their walt Smart Radio.
- Navigate to the walt Menu
- Select the Settings button near the bottom
- Next, choose Profile Settings
- From here, you should see the option to Change PIN
- If you do not know your PIN, select the I Forgot MY PIN option.
- A recovery code will be sent to your phone number or email address that is attached to your profile. Confirm that you received the code, or have it resent to you if you don't receive it.
- Enter the recovery code into your walt
- Enter your new PIN and enter it a second time to confirm
- After you've entered your new PIN, you will get a PIN Change confirmation screen.

If you forgot your PIN, full users can reset their PIN by themselves from their weavix Mobile App.
- Navigate to your profile by tapping your profile picture in the top left corner

Basic User forgotten PIN
Since basic users don't have a phone number or email address attached to their profile, they will need an Admin to Reset their PIN. After their PIN is reset, the user will be prompted to create a new PIN on their next login.
Reset a user's PIN from the weavix Console
If you need to reset a user's PIN, you can do so from the weavix Console.
- Click the Users option from the Navigation tree on the left side of the page
- Find the user that need's their PIN reset and click their user to open their profile
Pro Tip: If the user has tried entering an incorrect PIN too many times, they may be locked out also. If the user is locked, you will see a lock icon next to their name in the list and on their user profile, you will see an Unlock button available that you can click to unlock them.
- At the bottom of the User Info section, click the Reset PIN button. Note, you will not see this button available for full users. They will have to reset their PIN themselves.
- You will get a confirmation message stating that the user's PIN will be reset. Click Yes to continue.
- Now have the user use their badge to log into their walt or weavix Mobile App. After scanning the badge, they should be prompted to create a new PIN.

If you need to reset a user's PIN, you can do so from the weavix Mobile App.
- Navigate to the Menu on the weavix Mobile App and tap Manage Users.
- Find the user that need's their PIN reset and tap their user to open their profile
