For quick sign in on walt or mobile apps, weavix provides the ability to log in via NFC badges. Using the mobile app with a phone that has NFC capability, any user can assign a badge to themselves and a user that has edit user permissions can assign badges to other users.

Note: When ready to scan the badge or sticker,

If using an iPhone: Hold the badge / sticker towards the top of the device in order register the badge. 

If using an Android: Hold the badge / sticker towards the middle of the device, on the back side, in order to register the badge. 

Assigning a Badge to Yourself

1. Tap the profile icon in the top left corner of the app
   
2. Tap the Assign Badge button.
   
3. Hold the badge to the back of the phone until programming is complete.
   
   1. If programming is successful, you will see a green confirmation screen.
   2. If programming is not successful, you will see a red error screen.
      

Assigning a Badge to someone else

1. Open the user's profile
   
   1. Open a channel with the user and tap their profile picture at the top of the channel
      
   2. Then tap the person's name
      
   3. OR
      Tap the + button on the channel list to search for the user
      
   4. Open their profile
      
2. Tap the Assign Badge button.
   
3. Hold the badge to the back of the phone until programming is complete.
   
   1. If programming is successful, you will see a green confirmation screen.
   2. If programming is not successful, you will see a red error screen.
