Radio channels
Request channel - A channel used to report requests, whether it be maintenance, IT, etc. With the ability to add photos and videos we can expedite the process of resolving issues as maintenance team members can see the problem, thus resolving issues quicker.
Shoutout channel - Make it easy for your team to express good work as they see it. Your team can send out messages, photos or videos of other team members doing a good job, whether it's keeping an area clean or correctly doing a process.
Safety Observation channel - Make it easy for a user to report a safety observation with media to have as evidence.
Ideas Channel - Your frontline workforce is your boots on the ground, let's empower them to share their ideas on how to improve current process and procedures or implement new ones.
Shift Change channel - Allow your team to report any information to the following shift to ensure they're prepared and aware at the beginning of their shift.
Notebook channel - Effortlessly create notes, tasks, and reminders without the need to write them down. This private channel lets you record and access messages anytime, whether you're on the job floor or in the office. Plus you can save videos and photos directly in your channel keeping all of your important information easily accessible.
Mass Alerts
Below are some scenarios where sending out mass alerts can be highly beneficial.
Please note that the Protect feature is an add-on feature and is not available to all accounts.

Drills - Send reminders of fire, tornado, or any other drill you practice to ensure your team is alerted.

Multilingual Communication
Bridge language gaps effortlessly with weavix. When team members have their devices set to different languages, messages are instantly translated to ensure everyone stays on the same page. Empower your team to communicate confidently in their native language—whether you're asking about their day or reviewing the details of an incident. Your messages are not only translated but also transcribed directly on your devices, making collaboration smooth and inclusive for everyone. Discover all of the languages we support and other key information in our helpdesk article.
Improve Location Proximity
Enhance the accuracy of your Live Look map's location proximity by conducting a site survey. You'll need to use the mobile app along with at least two walt Smart Radios. To get started, contact our support team at help@weavix.com or reach out to your Customer Success Manager to enable this feature on your account. Once it’s activated, check out our video tutorial on conducting a site survey. For optimal results, we recommend taking a reading every 50 feet
Pro Tip: We recommend site surveys for clients working indoors as they are prone to more interference due to their site structure.
Note: this won't give an exact location, but should improve your proximity and help ensure that your user is on or off-site.
Offline Channels
Be proactive and create offline channels (dedicated radio channels) in case there's a service outage and your LTE and WiFi networks are down. Refer to our article on how to create offline or DRA channels to be prepared in the case of an emergency.
What do I do if my radio is accidentally damaged?
At weavix, we understand that accidents happen and wear and tear may occur due to your rugged environment. That's why we created our weCARE program. weCARE takes care of the repairs and replacements of your walt Smart radios at no cost! If you notice a damaged walt send us your completed RMA form to help@weavix.com so we can replace your walt.
