STOP: Do you have an onsite Admin to assist with your console setup below?
Your site administrator will play a key role in overseeing the configuration of your console to ensure that all users are properly set up for success. They will also serve as the primary point of contact for daily user management, including tasks such as assigning NFC badges, resetting PINs, and adding new users as needed. Additionally, this individual should be your main liaison for providing feedback on how weavix is impacting site communication and operational efficiency
Step 1: Access the Console
To manage settings, simply access the weavix Console. Check out our How to Access the Console article for instructions on logging in and navigating key features. Once in the Console, please confirm each bullet point below has been properly set up:
-
Site Creation: Confirm whether you have successfully created the new site in the Console. This step is fundamental to initializing the configuration process.
-
Crafts Addition: Ensure all relevant crafts have been added to the new site. This may include verifying that each craft aligns with the intended teams that will be utilizing your walt Smart Radios.
-
Admin Defined Channels: Check if new Admin Defined Channels have been established for the site. These channels are crucial for ensuring proper communication within the site and its teams.
-
Custom Permission Groups: Determine if any custom permission groups need to be defined for the site. Custom permissions help manage user access levels and are essential for maintaining the site's security and operational integrity.
Adding Users
The next step you are going to want to take is to add the additional users to your account. Adding users to your account is necessary for user access and deployment. Follow our guide, How to Add Users, to see the variety of ways that you can add a new user and ensure your team has the right permissions and tools available.
Onboarding Guides
Pro Tip! These Guides are great for users to utilize within their first week! Keep in mind that the QR Codes will expire after 7 days, so please ensure each user has an NFC Badge or Sticker to enable our tap-and-go log-in feature.
Once all necessary users have been added, the next step is to print their onboarding guides. This will enable each user to swiftly complete the self-verification process and have training material to reference when needed.
