What's new with weavix?

Addition of five new languages!

The following languages are now available in the language selection screen.  weavix now supports 17 different languages!

• Vietnamese
• Chinese (Mandarin)
• Japanese
• Ukrainian
• Pashto

Update to the walt Channel List screen

We've shrunk the header on the walt's Channel List screen. This means there is now more space for all of your channels on your walt's home screen!

Data Retention Policies

Does your company require company related communication to be deleted after a certain period of time? Now you can set Data Retention Policies on all of your company's data within weavix so that it will be deleted after it is no longer needed. Admin's can set individual policies for messages and location data.

Combine Picture and Video into Camera

Getting ready to send a picture but then decided you need to send a video instead? Check out our improvements to the Camera on the walt Smart Radio. Instead of separate Picture and Video buttons, you will see a single Camera button.  Tap that, then choose whether you want to take a picture or send a video. 

Additionally you will notice the option to add a flash when taking a picture or video, as well as improved clarity when using the camera.

Ability to disable the touchscreen on the channel list

Have you accidentally switched channels by tapping on a channel inadvertently? Consider disabling the touch screen on the walt's Channel List screen.

With this option enabled, the touch screen will not function while you are on the Channel List screen, only the physical buttons on the walt will be available.  Once in a channel or on the menu screen, the touch screen will return to working as normal.

Bulk User Onboarding

About to onboard users for a whole department all at once? Our improved Mass Import and Activation process will help you to quickly get all your new users in the system and communicating with weavix. Read more about onboarding users here!

Some highlights of the additions include:

• Updates to the Mass Import with an improved template and column mapping process as well as helping you make sure your upload is correct by surfacing any errors encountered
• Quick Activation that allows you to easily choose what groups of users you want to activate now vs later
• Printable Onboarding Guides allow you to create a handout for all new users containing their unique activation code in addition to information on best practices

Safety-Compliant Music on your walt - Public Preview

What is Safety-Compliant Music you might ask? It is the latest in innovation to keep your workers engaged and satisfied. Powered by iHeartRadio, Safety-Compliant Music allows workers to listen to local music stations on their walt Smart Radios.
