What's new with weavix™?
Ability to zoom into a photo on a walt Smart Radio
Did someone send you a picture on your walt Smart Radio, but you can't quite see what you need to in the picture? Now you can now zoom in and out on images received on a walt using two fingers on the touch screen
Option to respect the iOS Silent switch
iOS users can now have their weavix Mobile App follow the Silence Mode on their iPhone to determine whether PTTs are played live or not
- When this setting is enabled, if an iPhone has Silent Mode turned on, the playing of live PTTs will be silenced
- To enabled this feature, go to the weavix Mobile App Settings > Radio Settings and check the box for Obey Silent Mode
Edit message capability on weavix Mobile App and Web Radio
On the weavix Mobile App and on Web Radio, users will have the ability to edit a message if they need to correct something
- This edit capability will only be available for 15 minutes after a message was sent OR until a message from a different user in the channel is received, whichever comes first
- To edit the message, simply tap or click and hold on the message, then select the Edit option
- Messages that have been edited will have an "Edited" designation below the message
- Editing messages is not available on the walt Smart Radio
Create a ticket with support from weavix
Need help with your weavix device? Get in contact with our Customer Support directly from your walt Smart Radio or weavix Mobile App.
- In the menu on both devices, you'll find a 'Support' button
- Tapping that allows you to start a channel directly with a Customer Support agent
- Use the Push-To-Talk button or text a message to let the agent know what your problem is and they can respond back to you in the channel
- Translation is supported with this feature as well, so if the the Customer Support agent you're talking to speaks a different language than you do, you will be able to communicate with them in your preferred language
Improved handoff and redundancy with Wi-Fi and Cellular on the walt Smart Radio
We know how important connectivity and communication are to you and your workers, so we've improved the overall reliability of messaging when your walt Smart Radio is connected to both Wi-Fi and Cellular
- This creates a smoother transition when you are walking from an area with Wi-Fi coverage to one with Cellular coverage
- It also improves increases the reliability in situations where you are connected to a Wi-Fi network, but the Cellular signal is stronger
Streamlined user management in the weavix Console
- You can see the total number of users in your current folder in relation to the total number of users on your account in the top right corner of the page
- You will now have the option to download the user data for all of the users on your account to a .CSV file
- Quickly see the number of users who are in a given folder
- Ability to see all Active users by using a filter on the right side of the page
