What is new with weavix™?
- walt™ updates automatically when docked on wrangler™
- When a walt™ is docked on a wrangler™, it will check for any available updates and apply them automatically
- The status light will stay orange while it is updating
- Radio Over Internet Protocol (RoIP) Direct Integration
- Admins now have the ability to integrate legacy radio systems to weavix™ using a direct integration with out RoIP hardware. A middleware device is no longer necessary.
- Remote Speaker Mic (Boom Mic) availability
- weavix™ now offers wired boom mics to be worn on a worker's lapel. This allows for amplified volume in loud environments.
- Show 2D image by default
- If a site has a 2D image uploaded, it will display by default on Live Look
- Move Where’s walt™ to Device Management
- Where’s walt™ has changed to be called Device Management
- List view is the default view
- Location is moved under Configuration
- These changes are intended to reduce confusion between Live Look and Where’s walt™
- Language Translation
- Text Messages, PTT Transcriptions, and Mass Alerts will be translated to the receiver’s selected language
- Supported languages are English, Spanish, and Portuguese
- Improved walt™ voice
- The voice used when paging a user or receiving a Mass Alert is less robotic and varies in tone based on alert level
- Enhanced notification setting for Admin Defined Channels
- Creators of Admin Defined Channels have the option to prevent muting and silencing of notifications for the channel, can set a channel as a high priority channel that overrides normal channels, and can set a channel to only notify users when they are on site
- Increased ability to define who is included or not included in a channel
- Add a user in the Mobile App
- Admins with permissions to edit users will have the option to add a new user though the mobile app on their phone
- Admins with permissions to edit users will have the ability to assign badges via the mobile app
- Improved location services
- Improvements to location when devices are in buildings or have poor GPS service
- Beacons Tab changing to Location Assist in Site Configuration Console page
- In the Console under Sites, the tab for Beacons will change names to Location Assist
- Admins will have the ability to pin access points to assist in improving location of devices
