Whether you are just getting started with weavix and need to onboard your entire company or department, or if you just need to add a new hire on their first day, you can quickly get all your users communicating with weavix.
Create and onboard large groups
If you are just getting started with weavix and need to start onboarding users from scratch, follow these instructions for onboarding large groups.
Prep and creation of users
We can start by getting together a list of all the people you plan to be weavix users. We will use this list to fill in our template before uploading to weavix.
Follow the steps on Creating multiple users in the weavix Console to download and fill out your template before uploading it. Check out this article if you need help filling out your Mass Import spreadsheet.
Activation of users
Once all of your users are uploaded and created in weavix, it is time to get your users activated. There are several ways to activate a user, but if you are onboarding a large group, weavix recommends the Town Hall approach.
Activating users in a Town Hall setting allows you to efficiently onboard many users by gathering a group together, usually divided by department and/or shift, to activate and train the users at one time. Before the Town Hall meeting, you will print off Onboarding Guides for all of the users who will attend this session.
Once the users are gathered together, they can complete the activation of their individual users on their walt Smart Radio or their weavix Mobile App.
Create and onboard a single user
If you have new hires or just simply new users you want to add to your weavix account, we can quickly add one or two users in a couple ways.
Adding a user in the weavix Console is easy if you are by a computer and are preparing to add the user ahead of time. In the Console, you can create the user and then print out their Onboarding Guide to have ready for a new user on their first day!
However, if you are not nearby a computer or need to add a new user on the fly, you can quickly add a user in the weavix Mobile App. From here, the new user can scan a QR code on your phone and finish activating their account on their walt Smart Radio.
Create and onboard full users
Full users are general admins or supervisors and require a phone number or email address to be added to their account. This requires the user to confirm their information via a text or email sent to the provided contact information. It also means you can send them their invite immediately after their user is created instead of needing to print out an Onboarding Guide or scan a QR code.
