- Mass Alerts allow management to instantly send Mass Alerts to the entire workforce to keep your crews safe and informed. All Alerts can be classified depending on severity: Informational, Warning and Danger. Note: You must add Alert Types first before sending any Mass Alerts.
- Informational: General, non-emergency but necessary information
- walt: Dings and reads alert in a soft voice
- Mobile App: Sends a push notification
- Example: "The Road to Gate B is Closed."
- Warning: Impending dangers
- walt: Sounds alarm and reads alert in elevated voice
- Mobile App: Rings like an incoming phone call and plays alert message in elevated voice
- Alert volume is based off ringer volume
- Example: "There's lightening in the area, be aware."
- Alert volume is based off ringer volume
- Danger: Immediate dangers
- walt: Sounds alarm and reads alert in panicked voice
- Mobile App: Rings like an incoming phone call and plays alert message in panicked voice
- Alert volume is based off ringer volume
- Example: "Fire in the facility, evacuate now."
- Alert volume is based off ringer volume
To add/send a Mass Alert
- Click on Mass Alerts and Click + New Alert
- Next, select the Alert Type you wish to send from the dropdown
Next, add the Recipients of the Mass Alert. Choose from:
- People currently in the facility
- Companies
- Crafts
- Geofences
- Type the Message you wish to send in the Mass Alert
- You can also add a PIN if desired. Pins are used when the Alert pertains to a specific location within the Site, such as a Fire
- Once the Message has been typed, click Send Alert
- Once you've sent out a Mass Alert, a banner will pop up informing you how many people the Alert was sent to
- You can click "Show People" for a complete list of who the Alert went to
- Click on the Alert you just sent on the left-hand side of the screen
- To view who the Alert was Sent to, click on Sent
- To view who Received the Alert, click on Received
- To view who Acknowledged the Alert, click on Acknowledged
- Past alerts can be filtered by Alert Types and/or Severity
