- Workflows are utilized when a series of activities/steps are necessary to complete a task
- Typically, an outside event triggers the first task
- Workflows can be both sequential and parallel
To add a Workflow
- Click on Workflows
- Add the Workflow Name
- Select the appropriate Site(s)
- Add Tags
- Click Save
- Next, navigate to the Workflow tab
- Click "Add" under the Add Trigger banner
- Click on the Trigger dropdown and select the Trigger you would like to initiate the Workflow
- Next steps are based on what Trigger is selected, each Trigger will require different information
- Conditions can also be set to trigger the Workflow. Examples include an entire Company, a Craft, or Users with specific Tags. To add another Condition, click the plus sign icon underneath the trashcan
- Once all required information for the Workflow has been input, click Save
Our example Trigger is "People enter into geofence". This workflow is setup to alert Users when specific People have entered the Restricted Tanks geofence. Note you must have Alert Types setup in order to use this Trigger.
- Click on Then to add the next Action step for the Workflow
- Click on Unless if you want to add other Triggers to prevent a Workflow from running
- Once you click Then, the below Action banner will appear
Our example Then is adding the Action of Send alert if our Trigger conditions are met
- Another Action banner will appear with more Trigger information to add
- Target is the intended recipient(s) of the message
- The Timing dropdown allows you to select either Trigger Delay or Trigger Frequency
- Add all Trigger information and click Save
Our example is to "Send alert" on the "Test Site" with the message "Amy Brown or Brandon Martin have entered the Restricted Tanks area. Take immediate action!" We have selected our Alert type as "Restricted Area." Our Action Targets is to alert "People with the name equaling Max Becker".
- Your Workflow will now look like the below
- Click Save to enable your newly created Workflow
SOS/Man Down workflow
- Click on Workflows
- Add the Workflow Name
- Select the appropriate Site(s)
- Add Tags
- Click Save
- Next, navigate to the Workflow tab
- Click "Add" under the Add Trigger banner
- Click on the Trigger dropdown and select "SOS Triggered" (last item in list)
- Next step is to select what condition(s) need met in order to trigger the Workflow
Our example condition is People with Company equal to weavix
- Click on Then to add the next Action step for the Workflow
- Click on Unless if you want to add other Triggers to prevent a Workflow from running
- Once you click Then, the below Action banner will appear
Our example Then is Send channel message if our Trigger condition is met
- Action: Send channel message

Message: {{person.firstName}} {{person.lastName}} has triggered the SOS man down button!
- Variables such as First Name and Last Name can be inputted into the message (see drop down below)
- Channels: Safety (Admin Defined Channel)
- Action Targets: People with craft equal to Safety

The History tab will show all Workflow history
- Date of triggered workflow, Person who triggered the workflow, and what Site it was triggered on
